Training Director, Founder, And CEO
I’ve had a dream of working with dogs ever since my childhood. I grew up with dogs, participated in 4H as a youth, and always felt a special connection with animals. When I was 11 years old my dad brought home a black lab mix named Dolly that had showed up at his shop one day. I taught her a few tricks, and I was hooked. At 16 years old I began volunteering at the local humane society, and at 18 I began my formal training at Northstate Canine Academy in North Carolina. Since then I’ve attended dozens of other schools, workshops, and seminars to further pursue this passion of mine. I’m thrilled that we’ll soon be celebrating our 11 year anniversary here at Top Dog, it’s truly a dream come true.

Office Manager (The Real One In Charge)
Hi! I have the privilege of keeping things in order here at Top Dog. My passion for dogs began when I was 14 years old and my mother and I adopted Baxter a Lhasa Apso. I’ll admit that had I known Adam at the time I would have gotten in trouble for all the things we let Baxter get away with, but he was a wonderful dog nonetheless! My background in sales and customer service is the reason why I love working with people. It’s always a joy for me to greet each of our clients and their wonderful dogs when they enter the facility. If you can’t find me at the front desk then I’m probably out chasing our two year old son Ammon.
Obedience and Trick Dog Instructor
Hi there! I grew up in a military family, and have had the chance to live in lots of places through the years. I’ve always had a passion for working with animals, and as soon as I was able I began attending Training Schools. I’m a graduate from the prestigious Tom Rose Academy of Missouri, The Starmark Academy of Texas, and a certified Trick Dog Instructor through Kyra Sundance. I started off as an intern here at Top Dog and was able to prove myself worthy of a full time position a short time later. My crew of 5 dogs and myself love it here in Texas, and we can’t wait to meet you and your dog to show you some new tricks!
Ammon Gibson (Age 2)
General Mischief Maker
Ammon can typically be found misplacing files in his daddy’s office, dropping treats in dog kennels, or stealing his mom’s lunch, but he is definitely happiest when he gets a little dog to walk. He also plays an important role during the proofing phase of training, because no one is a better distraction than Ammon!
Daycare Director and Service Dog Trainer
I have always had a huge heart for all animals but dogs especially. I grew up with a cocker spaniel and later got two lab mix rescues. Currently, I am studying at St. Mary’s University to earn a bachelors in Psychology, but I have always wanted to work with animals. I have volunteered at shelters throughout my life. I now have a sweet Labradoodle named Ava who is training to be a service dog.
Hey I’m Mady! I started my career with dogs in 2015 when I began working at a doggy daycare facility in Fort Worth. I’ve always loved dogs, and currently have two of my own. I’ve known for a while that I wanted to learn more about dog behavior and training so I started subscribing to different YouTube channels, and learning more training tips through social media. That’s when I met Adam and the crew here at Top Dog. Shortly after applying for an internship I was given the good news that I had been accepted into the program, and I’ve loved learning and growing here ever since.
